KAMLOOPS — Another member of the 2022-23 Kamloops Blazers will play professional hockey next season.
In a news release issued Friday (May 19) morning, the New York Islanders announced they’ve signed 21-year-old winger Daylan Kuefler to a three-year National Hockey League (NHL) entry level contract.
The Islanders selected Kuefler 174th overall in the sixth round of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. Kuefler has spent four seasons with the Blazers in the Western Hockey League, peaking this season with 61 points (31 goals and 30 assists) in 54 games.
