Ashcroft medical facility closed Saturday

ASHCROFT — Interior Health is warning residents of an unplanned closure of the Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) in Ashcroft this weekend.

Services for scheduled and walk-in patients will not be available Saturday (May 19). Those who need emergency care should call 911 or travel to Kamloops for medical assistance.

The closure is due to the limited availability of doctors and nurses.
