French bulldog stolen from downtown Kamloops found
KAMLOOPS — A French bulldog reported stolen from downtown Kamloops last week will be returned to its rightful owner.
In a news release, Kamloops RCMP say they were told that Luna was stolen from inside a vehicle that had its windows open on the 1300-block of Columbia Street Friday (May 12) at around 9:10 a.m.
Police say photos of Luna had been posted on social media and led to a person reporting that they thought they saw her downtown.
“Police officers were led to a residence downtown and while they were investigating the tip, Luna came running around the corner towards them,” Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says. “Officers safely carried the dog away from the residence and made arrangements to have it returned to its owner early next week. We are happy to report that Luna is happy and well.”
