Village of Cache Creek to interrupt water service for some properties Saturday
CACHE CREEK, B.C. — In a stroke of irony, many Cache Creek residents will not have water for a portion of Saturday (May 13).
The Village of Cache Creek posted an update to its social media Friday noting water service will be turned off for properties on Quartz Road, Old Cariboo Road, Todd Road and the Highway 97 corridor north of the culvert at Dairy Queen.
The shutoff will take place around 9:00 a.m. and is expected to last for about four hours.
The service interruption is planned so the village can finish repairs on a water main pipe left exposed by flooding of Cache Creek.
