Blazers’ blueliners know the key to success against Seattle is hard work
KAMLOOPS — Tuesday’s (May 2) 4-1 win over Seattle in Game 3 of the Western Conference Championship series was the biggest of the year for the Blazers. Game 4 Thursday night at the Sandman Centre is another near-must-win scenario for the Blazers
“They’re a good team, they’re going to push,” Kyle Masters says. “We need to stick to our structure — you mentioned earlier, bending, not breaking, and I think that was a huge part of it.”
The Blazers’ defence has been depleted after plus/minus leader Logan Bairos exited Game 1 early. Ryan Micheal drew into the lineup for game two after coming off a hand injury but didn’t make it through the entire 60 minutes. It’s just a part of playoff hockey.
