Tuesday morning highway crash in Dallas killed a man who was outside his own vehicle: RCMP
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP have confirmed a collision on the Trans Canada Highway Tuesday (May 2) morning took a man’s life.
In a news release, detachment spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says police were called to the scene in the westbound lanes of the highway just west of Lafarge Road just before 10:00 a.m.
When police arrived, emergency responders were performing first aid on a man who had been struck by a vehicle. Evelyn says the man was outside of his own vehicle when he was struck.
The man succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
