RCMP distribute photos of suspect in Sunday armed robbery in Sahali

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are distributing a photo of a robbery suspect, hoping someone will be able to help identify her.

Just before 9:00 p.m. on Sunday (April 30), officers were called to a robbery in the 1300-block of Summit Drive.

Witnesses say the female suspect showed a handgun and made off with cash and other items.

“Multiple police officers responded to the area, including the Police Dog Service Unit, but unfortunately the suspect was not located,” said detachment spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn. “Police are sharing images of the suspect with the public to help further the investigation. Maybe you saw someone wearing similar clothing earlier that day, or maybe you saw the suspect as she fled the scene on foot, ditching her ball cap nearby. Whatever the circumstances may be, please reach out and let us know.”
