Small plane crashes near Salmon Arm

SALMON ARM, B.C. — RCMP are confirming a light plane crashed in a field near Salmon Arm Friday morning (April 28).

The area was described as the Salmon River Valley.

“At this time, the pilot and sole occupant of the plane suffered only minor injuries,” Staff Sgt. Scott West said

West said at 10 a.m., emergency crews were on scene but were close to completing their work.

Police say they will release more details later Friday.
