Kamloops man charged in weekend robbery at North Shore store
KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops man is facing charges after a robbery on the North Shore Sunday evening (April 23).
In a news release, detachment spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says the incident happened at about 8:15 p.m. Sunday. Police were called to a store in the 900-block of Eighth Street.
Witnesses say the suspect entered, made threats with a weapon while demanding cash, then fled.
“Police officers quickly flooded the area and arrested a suspect nearby who match the description provided,” said Evelyn.
