KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers played their second game of the series against the Portland Winterhawks on Saturday at the Sandman Centre in Kamloops. The Blazers were able to shut out the Winterhawks with five goals to Portlands’ zero.
The first period started with a Caden Bankier goal while on the power play just under ten minutes into the first, assisted by Olen Zellweger and Logan Stankhoven. The rest of the period went scoreless.
