Saturday Volunteer Fair aims to help Kamloops groups regain momentum after pandemic slowdown

KAMLOOPS –The second annual Kamloops volunteer fair will be kicking off this weekend, with numerous local organizations hoping to attract new bodies.

According to Karen Knight, the fair’s organizer, many Kamloops organizations have been struggling to staff their volunteer positions since returning from the pandemic, so this year’s fair is even more important than ever.

The fair takes place at Aberdeen Mall on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Knight said 28 organizations will be taking part this year.
