KAMLOOPS — An embarrassing mistake for a truck driver led to some traffic headaches from other truckers coming from Mission Flats Road Thursday morning (April 6).
A commercial truck attempting to turn west to head up the Summit Connector had its trailer buckle and break in the exit lane. The truck remained in the lane for several hours as cleanup was arranged.
While traffic was able to turn right from the through lane, the angle proved a challenge. A witness reported a B-train truck scraped a traffic light standard as it made the turn, leading to some damage.
