Woman arrested after SUV set ablaze at Northills Shopping Centre

KAMLOOPS — A woman was arrested in connection with a deliberately set vehicle fire at the Northills Shopping Centre parking lot this week.

According to Cpl. Crystal Evelyn, RCMP were called to the mall in the 700-block of Tranquille Road during the noon hour on Wednesday (March 29).

Firefighters were extinguishing a black vehicle that was fully engulfed.

Investigators subsequently located a woman and arrested her for arson.
