NorthPaws head coach Anderson moves to U.S. university; replacement expected soon

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops NorthPaws will have their second new head coach of the offseason.

In a news release Tuesday (March 28) morning, Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. announced Brian Anderson will join its baseball staff.

Anderson was unveiled as the NorthPaws’ second head coach in franchise history in October 2022, taking over for first-year head coach Cole Armstrong. Anderson leaves the NorthPaws not having managed a game.

Jenna Forter, NorthPaws general manager, told CFJC Today she hopes to have a new head coach finalized by the end of the work week. She adds the West Coast League (WCL) baseball club wishes Anderson the best in his new role.
