KAMLOOPS — The Western Hockey League’s B.C. Division all-star teams have no shortage of Kamloops Blazers representation.

Blazers forward Logan Stankoven and defenceman Olen Zellweger made the first team, joining Ethan Samson and Chase Wheatcroft of the Prince George Cougars, Jesper Vikman of the Vancouver Giants and Andrew Cristall of the Kelowna Rockets.

The second team has four Blazers — forwards Caedan Bankier and Matthew Seminoff, defenceman Kyle Masters and goaltender Dylan Ernst. They are joined by Prince George Cougars forward Riley Heidt and defenceman Hudson Thornton.

There is some local content on the Central Division second all-star team, with Kamloops native Mathew Ward of the Swift Current Broncos making the cut.
