KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP, as well as friends and family, are pleading with the public for help in locating a missing 57-year-old resident, Jo-Anne Donovan, who was last seen by her neighbours early last week. Her car remained in the driveway after her disappearance, but her purse and medication are missing. The car has since been seized by RCMP as part of the investigation.

Jo-Anne’s son, Brandon, is left with no answers, and the woman’s disappearance is out of character, according to childhood friend Heather Riegert.

Riegert is providing support to Brandon, while RCMP continue to regularly check in on him and his mother’s shared Warrens Trailer Park home, where Jo-Anne was last spotted.

Jo-Anne was an avid walker and would frequent Tranquille Creek, Mac Island Park and the Rivers Trail near the airport.

She has a history of both mental and physical illness, and events prior to her disappearance may have left her distraught, according to Brandon.

Despite appeals from friends, family and acquaintances, no one has heard anything, and the circumstances surrounding Jo-Anne’s disappearance remain unknown.

Anyone with information is urged to come forward and contact Kamloops RCMP. Family and friends of Jo-Anne continue to echo the RCMP’s plea for help in locating their loved one.
