RCMP searching for second suspect in North Shore assault
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying one of two men suspected in an assault investigation on the North Shore.
In a news release issued Wednesday (March 15), RCMP say they were called to a bus stopped at Tranquille Road and Poplar Street back on Feb. 10 at 8:20 p.m. where two men in their 20s reportedly assaulted a man in his 60s with blunt objects.
Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says one of the men was quickly identified, but the second suspect is still unknown.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s with a dark, thick moustache. He’s described as wearing a white camo hoodie, black White Sox ball cap and a white cross-body fanny-pack with green zipper flies.
