KAMLOOPS — Wine lovers in Kamloops can rejoice as the Kamloops Wine Festival makes a grand comeback after a multi-year hiatus due to the pandemic. Since 1998, the festival has been a favourite among wine connoisseurs who have eagerly anticipated its return.

Judy Basso, who has been producing and managing the festival since 2006, is thrilled to be bringing it back to Kamloops. She believes the festival provides a cultural experience for attendees to find their perfect wine match. Basso is eager to once again share the joy and excitement of discovering new wines.

The festival will kick off at their new venue in Colombo Lodge on June 1 with ‘Cheese the Day,’ and on June 3, the festival’s main event, the Grand Wine Tasting Party, will be hosted. The organization is excited to bring the event back for the first time since 2019.

For the first time, the wines showcased at the festival will be available for purchase. Wines at the event can be purchased via an order form.

“We are thrilled to be back and bringing the festival to wine lovers in Kamloops,” said Judy Basso. “The festival is a great opportunity to discover new wines and share in the cultural experience that comes with wine tasting. We can’t wait to see everyone there.”

With the return of the Kamloops Wine Festival, attendees can once again experience the joy of discovering new wines, pairing them with delicious foods and mingling with fellow wine lovers. The festival promises to be an exciting event, and wine enthusiasts should make sure to mark their calendars.

The event runs from June 1 to June 3. Tickets are available online.
