Kamloops Wine Festival to make comeback this June
KAMLOOPS — Wine lovers in Kamloops can rejoice as the Kamloops Wine Festival makes a grand comeback after a multi-year hiatus due to the pandemic. Since 1998, the festival has been a favourite among wine connoisseurs who have eagerly anticipated its return.
Judy Basso, who has been producing and managing the festival since 2006, is thrilled to be bringing it back to Kamloops. She believes the festival provides a cultural experience for attendees to find their perfect wine match. Basso is eager to once again share the joy and excitement of discovering new wines.
The festival will kick off at their new venue in Colombo Lodge on June 1 with ‘Cheese the Day,’ and on June 3, the festival’s main event, the Grand Wine Tasting Party, will be hosted. The organization is excited to bring the event back for the first time since 2019.
