Vandal goes on window-breaking spree in Sagebrush neighbourhood
KAMLOOPS — RCMP are investigating a rash of broken vehicle windows in the Sagebrush neighbourhood.
In a news release, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says the calls came in between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (Mar. 14). The reports came in from the 600-block of Columbia Street and the 600- to 800-blocks of Dominion Street.
Video surveillance of one instance showed a person approaching a vehicle on a bicycle at about 2:00 a.m. before smashing one of its windows.
Evelyn says the acts appear to be simple vandalism as no stolen items have been reported.
