Kieper makes 26 saves in shutout over Giants

KAMLOOPS — 24 hours removed from their 6-3 win over the Everett Silvertips on Friday (Mar.10) at home, the Kamloops Blazers fired another six goals on Saturday (Mar.11) and managed to hold the visiting Vancouver Giants to zero goals in a 6-0 victory at the Sandman Centre.

Emmitt Finnie opened the scoring midway through the first period, which would ultimately be the game winner as he fired his sixth of the season. Neither team would score a goal afterwards heading into the intermission.

Into the second, that is where a number of three goals were scored, including a penalty shot marker by Connor Levis who would get his 22nd on the year to make it 4-0 Blazers.
