Salmon Arm driving incident escalates to assault

SALMON ARM, B.C. — Mounties in Salmon Arm say some sort of driving incident led to an assault.

Officers were called to the scene on 80th St. SW at approximately 3 p.m. Wednesday, Mar. 8.

The RCMP say an undisclosed vehicle incident occurred on an area road, leading to the adult female driver from one car allegedly assaulting two adult females from another vehicle.

The victims were transported to Shuswap Lake General Hospital for treatment. They were later released.
