Kamloops man with two warrants taken into custody by RCMP

KAMLOOPS — A local man who is wanted on multiple warrants has been arrested by Kamloops RCMP.
In a news release issued by Cpl. Crystal Evelyn on Friday (Mar.3), officers were called over to an area on Tranquille Road around 4:30 p.m. on February 22nd. That is where they found 32 year-old Mitchell Nesbitt who was then taken into custody by police on charges for carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon while prohibited, firearms possession, and for assault with a weapon.
Kamloops RCMP had issued a news release on February 16th in regards to the warrants on the 32 year-old.
Evelyn said in a statement that Kamloops RCMP are “thankful to the public and the media for their assistance” in locating Nesbitt.
