Vehicle crash knocks out power to over two thousand north of Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — An overnight vehicle crash has knocked out power to the Heffley Creek and Sun Peaks area this morning.
According the BC Hydro website, power went out at 1:45 a.m. Sunday (Feb. 26). A vehicle crash is behind the outage. It is not clear if there were any injuries in the crash.
More than two thousand homes and businesses were affected by the outage.
Hydro crews arrived on the scene earlier this morning and have since restored power.
