KAMLOOPS — Some relief for the medical imaging department at Royal Inland Hospital.
Interior Health (IH) says one of the department’s two CT scanners has been repaired and is back in service.
The machine went down on Tuesday (Feb. 21) and the hospital had to obtain parts in order to get it back up and running.
In the interim, RIH had no working CT scanners. The other scanner was damaged beyond repair by a flood in December. IH says that a replacement is still on track to be installed next month.
