Feb 24, 2023 | 5:24 AM

KAMLOOPS — Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for much of the B.C. Interior, including Kamloops, the North Thompson and Shuswap.

The forecaster says a frontal system will bring heavy snow, which will begin Saturday afternoon (Feb. 25) and continue falling through to Sunday evening.

Ten to 20 centimetres of the white stuff may fall, with accumulations in local areas up to 30 centimetres.

Drivers should be aware of rapidly changing conditions on highways, including heavy snow and reduced visibility.
