Team Canada rolling into playoffs at Kamloops Scotties
KAMLOOPS — The three-time defending Scotties champion has been rolling in Kamloops, sitting at 7-and-0 ahead of the final draw Thursday evening (Feb. 23). After getting a full-day off yesterday, the Einarson rink battled a tough Alberta squad Thursday morning.
“We have had few tight games also this week. But Alberta is also a really great team and they have done really well. They really tested us, and I know that I missed a couple shots in that game that could have forced them. Kind of let them off the hook a little bit. We had a decent game,” said Kerri Einarson.
Einarson is looking to match Colleen Jones as the only Canadian curler to win four consecutive Scotties. After winning the past three season, she knows the level of play her team needs to reach.
