Lights! Camera! Kamloops! hosted by Tom Friedman and Terri Anne Wilson is a two-part, half-hour mini-series produced by CFJC TV that puts the lens on the film industry in Kamloops leading up to the 27th Annual Kamloops Film Festival, March 2 to 11 at the Paramount Theatre.

The first half-hour is a big picture look at the industry. Conversations with local movers and shakers will include Terri Hadwin, the TNRD Film Commissioner, prominent filmmaker Cjay Boisclair and Peter Cameron-Inglis, CEO of Mastermind studios, the only sound stage facility currently operating in the region.

In the second half is a spotlight on young, up-and-coming filmmakers. View their recent projects and hear the joys and struggles of making films in Kamloops. Filmmakers include Jared Putnam and Kenny Choi with the film Long Way Home, Kora Vanderlip with Manic Pixie Dream Girl, and Brandon Giddens with his feature The Murder of Stacy Leiman, currently in production.
