KAMLOOPS — 24 hours after the Kamloops Storm won game one of their playoff series, the Sicamous Eagles responded on a strong note, defeating the Storm 6-2 on Saturday (Feb.18) and tying up the series 1-1.

Within the first 10 minutes of the opening frame, the Storm came out firing, scoring two goals thanks to Devin Benson and Harrison Ewert.

The Eagles fired back with a scoring spree of their own, scoring two consecutive goals in 54 seconds courtesy of Reid Tisdale and Riley Teulon to even things up at two heading into the first intermission.

It was all Eagles in the second and third period as they would score four additional goals and as a result, score six unanswered goals en route to the win. Gage Reimer shook off his rough start, making 28 saves on the night to help his club even the series at one.
