TRU Men’s volleyball lose consecutive sets to Thunderbirds

KAMLOOPS — The Wolfpack took a crushing blow at the TCC Friday night (Feb.17) as they lose to the UBC Thunderbirds 3-0.
The first set was all UBC as they outscored the Wolfpack by nine points, claiming the set 25-16.
In the second, the Wolfpack came in strong, putting up 26 points. However it would not be enough to match the Thunderbirds 28 as they would claim the second set as well with the aid of Matt Neaves who had a game high 14.5 points.
The third set would have the same intensity as the second but the Thunderbirds would remain consistent and win their third straight match. Meanwhile, the Wolfpack have now lost seven consecutive games.
