Kamloops RCMP release photo of suspect in work cellphone theft

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest in a theft investigation.

On Jan. 11 at around 5:20 p.m., police were told of a work cellphone being stolen from a business on the 1100-block of Columbia Street West.

Since then, police say the investigator received surveillance from the store, but has not been able to identify the person of interest.

The person is described as a woman in her 30s with red hair and wearing a white hoodie and black jacket.
