Two men reportedly assaulted by trio on the North Shore: RCMP

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are investigating after two people were assaulted on the North Shore Friday (Feb. 10) afternoon.

In a news release issued Thursday morning, RCMP say they were called to a field near Renfrew Avenue and Renfrew Lane after two men were reported as injured by weapons.

Police say they found a group of youths and young adults, many intoxicated, and determined that two men appeared to have been assaulted by three others. The use of weapons was unproven.

Anyone who witnessed the reported assault, or has video or information related to it, is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP.
