Pair facing 33 charges after crime spree through southern B.C., including Merritt

MERRITT, B.C. — RCMP detachments throughout southern B.C., including Merritt, partnered together to recommend numerous charges to two individuals over the past eight months.

“Between May 2, 2022 and June 17, 2022 Justin Colby and Raven Graham were involved in a series of break and enters, thefts from vehicles and credit card fraud throughout southern British Columbia, including the Sea to Sky corridor,” said Sgt. Sascha Banks.

The Sea to Sky RCMP – General Investigation Section conducted the investigation which included roughly 26 police files from areas including:

• Merritt
• Coquitlam
• Surrey
• Creston
• Stl’Atl’Imx Tribal Police Service
• West Vancouver Police Department
• Vancouver Police Department
• Integrated Police Dog Services
• Integrated Forensic Identification Services
• Integrated Municipal Provincial Auto Crime Team

According to police, in late January, 33 charges were sworn against the two, including:

“This crime spree affected many people in our community,” said Sea to Sky RCMP Sgt. Jeff Shore. “We are pleased to see that our hard work in putting all the pieces together has resulted in numerous charges against two prolific property crime offenders.”
