Kamloops nurse suspended for poor communication, falsifying patient documents
KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops nurse has been suspended for, in part, falsifying patient documentation.
According to the B.C. College of Nurses and Midwives, the organization has signed a consent agreement with Wanda-Lee Lewis that includes a three-month suspension.
The incidents in question took place between May, 2019 and November, 2021.
In the agreement, Lewis conceded that she “failed to communicate in a timely manner, or at all, with a resident’s family member” in the wake of a resident’s fall, injury and transfer to hospital.
