UPDATE: East Trans Canada Highway back open

KAMLOOPS — UPDATE: Kamloops RCMP say the travel lanes are back open and no one was seriously injured in the crash.

EARLIER: Emergency crews are on scene at a crash in east Kamloops.

The crash took place in the eastbound lanes of the East Trans Canada Highway, between Valleyview and Dallas.

There are reports that it includes a semi truck and a passenger vehicle.

Kamloops RCMP advise motorists to avoid the area.
