Trial in 2019 Cache Creek shooting death to begin Monday

KAMLOOPS — The trial of a man charged in a 2019 murder in Cache Creek will begin Monday (Feb. 6) at the Kamloops courthouse.

Corey Harkness is charged with shooting and killing Brock Ledoux on Jan. 14, 2019, at a home on Collins Road in Cache Creek.

Harkness was arrested a short time later and charged with second degree murder.

Jury selection is taking place in B.C. Supreme Court this week before the trial begins Monday. Two weeks are set aside to hear evidence.
