Longtime owners sell Smith Chev, Kamloops Hyundai dealerships to Kelowna-based company

KAMLOOPS — After more than 70 years in the car business in Kamloops, a pair of local families are handing over the keys to a Kelowna-based firm.
In a news release, Anthony Muzzillo and Michael Schreiner say they have agreed to sell Smith Chevrolet Cadillac to Bannister Automotive Group. The deal also includes the neighbouring Kamloops Hyundai.
Muzzillo’s and Schreiner’s fathers, Albert Muzzillo and Roger Schreiner, purchased Smith Chev from Gordon Smith in 1970. They sold it to their sons in 1990.
The younger Muzzillo and Schreiner purchased Kamloops Hyundai in 2007.
