100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — A 66-year-old Sheridan Lake woman has been charged with manslaughter after a suspicious death investigation in 2021.
In a news release, 100 Mile House RCMP say Merrilee Hudson appeared in 100 Mile House Law Courts on Jan. 27, after the reported sudden death of a 69-year-old man near Sheridan Lake in August 2021 turned into a homicide investigation.
Previously, RCMP said the death appeared to be an isolated incident, and there was no threat to the public. Under the Coroners Act, the deceased’s name was not released due to privacy.
RCMP say they will not provide further information now that Hudson’s matter is before the courts.
