What dreams are made of; Kamloops Storm netminder scores

KAMLOOPS — Everybody who has ever strapped on a pair of pads and patrolled the blue-ice has dreamed of firing a puck down the ice into an empty net.

Kamloops Storm goalie Cody Creasy lived that dream on Friday (Jan. 27) night. With his team leading the Summerland Steam 4-2, Creasy seized an opportunity to fire-away at the yawning cage 200-feet away and with just two seconds remaining on the clock, Creasy sent the home crowd into a frenzy to make it a 5-2 game.

Offensively the Storm were led by Ashton Taylor to tallied a trio of apples. Five different Kamloops players would score in the win.

The Storm are on the road tonight to face the Posse in Princeton. Puck drop is 7:00 pm.
