Blazers best Royals in barn burner
VICTORIA B.C. — Eleven pucks found their way to the back of the net last night in the provincial capital with the Blazers coming out on top 7-4 over the Royals.
Kamloops came out flying last night scoring four times in the opening 20 minutes led by a pair of markers from Matthew Seminoff. Captain Logan Stankoven also added a short-handed goal, and Caedan Bankier would beat the buzzer with just 18 second left in the period to complete the onslaught.
The Blazers would make a 6-2 game in the middle stanza after Robin Sapousek scored his 3rd of the year for Victoria, Fraser Minten bulged the twine twice in two and a half minutes. But, the Royals wouldn’t go down quietly. They found two more in the middle stanza to send the game into the intermission at 6-4.
