Semi truck rollover closes Highway 5 north of Kamloops

UPDATE (11:30 a.m.): DriveBC reports that Highway 5 near Heffley Creek reopened in both directions.

However, drivers are being told of minor delays on Highway 5 between CN Junction Road and Devick Road near Westsyde due to a separate vehicle incident.

UPDATE (9:30 a.m.): DriveBC is warning of slippery sections on Highway 5 between Barriere and Kamloops.

Another update on the reopening of Highway 5 is due for 11:30 a.m.

EARLIER: KAMLOOPS — Drivers travelling north of Kamloops should expect delays Friday (Jan. 27) morning.

A detour is available via Old Highway 5. Another update is due at 9:30 a.m.
