Kamloops RCMP investigating Dufferin business break-in

KAMLOOPS — RCMP are looking into a break-in Monday night (Jan. 23) in Dufferin, not far from Aberdeen Mall.
In a news release, spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says an alarm came just before 10:00 p.m. in the 1300 block of Hillside Drive. Responding officers found a suspect damaged a door while gaining entry to a store.
“Police attended but were unable to locate a suspect,” said Evelyn. “At the time of the report, it was unknown what exactly had been taken.”
The suspect’s clothing is described as light-coloured shoes, black pants, gloves, a mask and a black hood with an oversized jacket.
