Mother of young man who went missing in Sun Peaks coming to Kamloops for book-signing

KAMLOOPS — Heather Shtuka will return to Kamloops next month — on the fifth anniversary of her son’s disappearance — to showcase her newly-released book.

Ryan Shtuka went missing on February 17, 2018 after attending a house party at Sun Peaks.

Despite desparate searches by both police, trained volunteers and civilians, no trace of Ryan has been found.

Since the disappearance, Heather Shtuka has diligently kept the search for Ryan in the forefront of Kamloops residents’ minds.

She wrote of her family’s experience in the book Missing From Me, which became an Amazon best seller.
