Suspect in two Quesnel armed robberies arrested

QUESNEL, B.C. — A suspect in a pair of armed robberies this month in Quesnel has been arrested.

Thirty-year-old Thomas Philips has been charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of disguise with intent, and two counts of possession of an imitation weapon.

Quesnel RCMP say he’s been remanded in custody until his next court appearance on Monday.

Philips is the suspect in a robbery at the Husky gas station on the 400 block of Front Street on January 7 and the robbery of a woman on January 13 at an ATM machine on the 300 block of Reid Street.
