Hudson’s Bay announces plans to open Zellers in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Nearly a decade after hanging Zeddy’s yellow shirt to the rafters of Target, the Canadian retail chain Zellers is bringing its grey and red ambience back to Kamloops.
Zellers announced that one of its 25 pop-up-shop locations will be in Hudson’s Bay at Aberdeen Mall in Kamloops.
Hudson’s Bay Co. announced in August, 2022 that it would revive the Zellers brand as in-store shops and an e-commerce website. Most Zellers stores closed by 2013 after Hudson’s Bay sold most of its leases to Target.
Along with Kamloops, Hudson’s Bay will set up Zellers shops in Abbotsford, Surrey and Vancouver.
