Ticket issued, investigation ongoing after car crashes into West Victoria tattoo shop

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP responded to the Blue Orchid tattoo shop on the 200-block of Victoria Street West Sunday (Jan. 15) afternoon after a vehicle crashed through the front of the shop.
RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn confirmed that the driver sustained non-life threatening injuries and thankfully nobody inside of the shop was injured in the collision.
“One ticket was issued for ‘drive without due care.’ The investigation is ongoing, so anybody who did see anything or has dash cam footage or any other footage that may help in that investigation is asked to please contact police. A ticket has been issued but the investigation is ongoing as well,” said Evelyn.
