Rockets snap losing streak while extending winless streak for Kamloops

KELOWNA — Andrew Cristall scored twice, including the winner in the second period as the Kelowna Rockets defeated the Kamloops Blazers 3 – 2 Friday evening (Jan. 6) in the Okanagan city.
Marcus Pacheco had the other goal for the Rockets who snapped a six-game losing skid that dated back to mid-December.
Kyle Masters and Daylan Kuefler scored for Kamloops who have been beaten in three consecutive games.
Dylan Ernst stopped 25 shots in the Kamloops net while Talyn Boyko blocked 26 shots in the Rockets net.
