The Kamloops T2 Blazers played in an ‘A’ division semi-final Tuesday morning at Brock Arena, against the Chestermere Lakers.

The Lakers took an early 3–0 lead, but the Blazers battled back to tie the game 3-3 and then 4-4, before surrendering three unanswered goals in the final period to lose 7-4.

This year was the first year the tournament was held, as the pandemic caused the cancellation of the event in 2020 and 2021.
