PRINCE GEORGE — The Kamloops Blazers got another nail-biting overtime win in Prince George against the Cougars.

Kamloops wins 4-3 in overtime with a goal from Logan Bairos after previously beating the Cougars 6-5 the night before.

Unlike Friday’s win, the Cougars didn’t find themselves in a four-goal deep hole to the Blazers.

The two teams traded goals in the first and second periods making the score 1-1 heading into the final frame.

In the third period, the Blazers opened the scoring final period scoring with two in a row just over 10 minutes in.

The Cougars gave their best response and followed Kamloops’ lead with two goals of their own two minutes apart.

With the score tied at three goals each, the winner needed to be decided by overtime yet again.

Just over two minutes into the extra frame, Bairos gave Kamloops the win in OT.

This is the Blazers’ 18th win of the season and wraps up their weekend series against the Cougars sweeping PG.

Kamloops now heads into the holiday break and will prepare for Kelowna for a game after Christmas against the Rockets on December 27th.
