Province reminding drivers of poor road conditions for parts of B.C.
NORTH COAST — The Province of British Columbia is reminding its drivers using the major roadways to exercise caution as a dip in temperatures is expected and winter warnings have been issued in some parts of the province.
Regions across B.C. have been given a variety of winter storm, snowfall, extreme cold and arctic outflow warnings and advisories.
Environment Canada has highlighted some of the affected areas to be the north coast, the central coast, the Nicola region, the Fraser Canyon and Fraser Valley, as well as the Yoho Park.
In a tweet from the provincial government, as drivers are expected to take to the road this weekend, it could make for a long trip due to the current and projected weather conditions.
