With the Saturday night win, Kamloops improves their record to 16-6-3-2 as they sit at the top of WHL’s BC Division.

The Blazers now have 37 points on the season and trail the Seattle Thunderbirds for the second seed in the Western Conference Standings.

On Victoria’s side, the Royals drop to 5-22-3-0 for the season and have 13 points this year.

The win was a balanced effort for the Blazers that saw six different goal scorers have a hand in the victory.

Victoria’s Kalem Parker was able to add a goal midway through the third period but was ultimately too tough of a task to make a comeback.

The Blazers’ organization says 4,947 fans filled the seats for the annual Teddy Bear Toss night.
